The Melrose Housing Authority is seeking a qualified individual for the full-time position of Mechanic/Laborer.  Applicants should have experience with carpentry, flooring repairs, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, painting, cleaning, plowing, shoveling, and snow blowing. Must be available for rotating on call after hours service and related weather emergency duties as required. General knowledge of maintenance systems, building equipment, and small tools. Must possess a valid driver’s license, be insurable under Housing Authority insurance, have ability to lift fifty (50) pounds or more. Applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and physical exam.

Full benefit package provided. Salary is subject to the Department of Labor and Industries rates.  Resumes will be received until position is filled.
